Legend whispers of its inception in the year 415 AD, amidst the ancient realms of Sylla, known today as Korea.

It was during this epoch that a revered healer, known as Komu-ha, embarked on a journey of healing that would transcend borders and epochs. Summoned to the court of the illustrious Emperor Ingyō of Japan, Komu-ha wielded a potent elixir crafted from fermented tea leaves. This concoction, known as "Kombu-cha," was more than a mere remedy; it was a tonic for the soul, a draught of vitality.

 

The name itself, a fusion of "Komu-ha" and the Japanese word for tea, "cha," became synonymous with rejuvenation and vitality. Kombu-cha, or the "Doctor Komu's Tea," swiftly earned renown as the elixir of immortality.

Today, we at Kombu-cha proudly carry forth this ancient legacy, crafting our kombucha with reverence for tradition and a commitment to excellence.
